• Kia receives two wins at the 2021 CCT100 Awards
  • All-New Sorento tops its category as ‘Large SUV of the Year’
  • Picanto named ‘City Car of the Year’
  • Sportage and e-Niro included in the CCT100 list

Kia is continuing its winning streak, picking up two more wins at the 2021 Company Car Today CT100 Awards for the All-New Sorento SUV and Picanto city car. Furthermore, both the Sportage and the e-Niro appear in the CCT100 chart.

These models are available to buy online from Gravells thanks to our Search, Connect, Collect: Always available campaign, with vehicle handover done in strict compliance with the latest COVID-secure rules to offer complete customer peace of mind.

The CCT100 assesses business-focused vehicles across 13 key factors, including emissions, price, running costs, company car tax, practicality, desirability and the driving experience.

The All-New Sorento followed in its predecessor’s footsteps, ranking highly in all areas to earn the crown of ‘Large SUV of the Year’ for 2021. With Hybrid, soon-to-arrive Plug-In Hybrid and diesel options, plus a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, as well as space-for-seven as standard, the fourth-generation Sorento makes perfect business sense.

Since its UK launch back in 2004, the Picanto city car has frequented the top step of the podium in various awards ceremonies, and has sold over 150,000 units in the UK. Depending on specification, the Picanto is offered with technologies such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Kia’s new Automated Manual Transmission.

Recognising their significance amongst fleets across the country, the versatile Sportage and all-electric e-Niro were further recognised by Company Car Today’s judges in the CCT100 list.

“Kia’s pair of Company Car Today CCT100 Awards show the strength of the brand, coming at opposite ends of the spectrum with the Picanto showing its quality in the City Car category, and the All-New Sorento proving that large SUVs can make sense for company car operators thanks to its hybrid technology,” said Paul Barker, Editor of Company Car Today.

“Both cars exhibited great running costs, combined with practicality, good looks and efficiency.”

Jonathan Gravell commented: “Both the Large SUV and City Car categories are highly competitive, which makes these wins even more impressive. Since the fourth-generation Sorento was launched back in September 2020, it has received a very positive reaction from both business and retail customers.

“Likewise, the Picanto is consistently a popular choice thanks to its refined interior and driving feel in such a small package, and has truly earned its place as a renowned city car.”

”It’s also great to see fleet-favourites, the Sportage and e-Niro, feature in the CCT100 list, further proving Kia's quality line-up of vehicles for all types of customers.”
