KIA SHAKES UP LCV MARKET WITH REVEAL OF NEW PBV VAN LINEUP

The Kia PBV is a brand-new electric van range designed to make working and travelling easier, greener, and more cost-effective. Built on Kia’s specialist electric platform, the PV5 offers excellent space, performance, and low running costs - whether you’re transporting goods or passengers.

Every PV5 comes with Kia’s industry-leading 7-year / 100,000-mile warranty and 20,000-mile / 2-year service intervals, helping to keep costs low and confidence high.

Pre-orders for the PV5 Cargo and Passenger models are now open, with first customer deliveries expected by the end of the year. The PV5 is just the beginning. A larger electric commercial vehicle, the PV7, is planned for 2027, followed by the PV9 in 2029. Each model will offer increasing size, capability, and flexibility to suit a wide range of customers. Perfect for couriers, tradespeople, and fleet operators, the PV5 Cargo comes in two lengths with the option of a high roof. This means more space than ever before - up to 5.17 cubic metres -  and an impressive payload of up to 790kg.

Charging is fast and easy, with two battery sizes to choose from:

• Standard battery: up to 181 miles* range

• Long-range battery: up to 247 miles* range
  Both support ultra-fast charging, going from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.

Prices start from £27,645 + VAT, and eligible businesses can also benefit from a £5,000 government grant.

Seamlessly serving both customer and business needs, the Passenger features flexible 5 to 7-seat configurations, a wide display (7.5" cluster + 12.9" infotainment) and best-in-class ADAS specifications for a cutting-edge vehicle experience. The PV5 Passenger model is ideal for families or private hire use. With a range of up to 249 miles* on the long-range battery, it’s perfect for longer journeys too.

Prices start from £32,995 on the road.

The Crew van’s second-row space can be freely transformed into a cargo area for people and equipment, whatever the journey. Kia directly manufactures and guarantees all the conversion specifications, such as the three L-Tracks to secure irregular-shaped cargo, for the highest level of quality.
