The updated 2026 Renault Captur introduces the new full hybrid E-Tech 160 powertrain, replacing the previous 145hp system. With a more powerful 1.8-litre petrol engine and a larger 1.4 kWh battery, performance is improved, offering quicker acceleration and greater efficiency.
The 2026 model also boasts an updated multi-mode transmission adds a motorway mode for quieter cruising - complete with a new e-shifter that is standard across all trims. Thanks to the new, more powerful engine, towing capacity has also increased from 750kg to 1,000kg.
